“Dr. Draca always stopped by to give me my shots, see how things were going. All that. The guy always seemed a bit lonely so I tried to chat, offer him tea. Poor guy had so many patients, but he never complained. Not once. I tell you, that guy was a miracle worker. Helped me feel better, and I'm not just talking about my health. All that work he did, and suddenly I didn't feel quite so bad about living in the Forge. He may be gone, but his legacy lives on. I try to tell people to live by his example every day…”
- From an interview given by Lady Lightning, local Forge hero
”… Oh, sure, everyone knew Dr. Draca. I was a kid at the time, though. Way, way too shy to actually talk to him or anything. When he gave up his life to save me, it was already too late. But that's when I thought: why does his example have to die with him? We could help our community in the Forge, too. So that's when I gathered some of the neighbourhood kids and started actually doing something. Something positive, you know? It's not squeaky clean in the Forge. Not yet. But we're getting there. One patient at a time.”
