Garuda Turn 6 News

Core and Parliament Attacked

We've all heard the news. A group of unknown assailants has successfully taken control of both Parliament and The Core. Neither of these can be left alone if we want to come out of this in one piece. Given the recent de-orbiting of the SolarMax satellites, fusion reactors such as the one in the core are some of the only viable power sources we have at the moment.

SPEAR have been in touch, and we have come to the agreement that Garuda and any allies we can find will liberate the Core, while SPEAR takes back Parliament. That said, play to your strengths and coordinate. If you know any good scientists in SPEAR, see if you can bring them to the Core. We don't know who's alive down there and what might have been done. Lei Gong, you're coordinating this. Time for you to prove yourself.

Make sure you stay alive down there. We've not heard back from several of our agents, including Blitz, since the disaster at Temple. We can't afford to lose any more.

Looking to the Future

There's still a lot to be done, and with everything that's happened over the past few weeks it may seem strange, but we need to start thinking about the future of our organisation. While the discontent within Carrion has largely ceased, it may well only be a matter of time before it starts up again, especially once the dust settles from this latest round of attacks.

Opinions in the organisation are mixed. Incidents such as this show that now, more than ever, we need those willing to do the dirty work to get the job done so others can sleep safely, while others are still wary. The question remains as to how we envision our organisation changing in the future. With confidence in SPEAR at an all time low, we may end up the only thing standing between the World and those that would threaten it.

And we need to be ready.
