The relief package for the Forge has been approved in both the Economics Committee and the Chancellors. Ariel Vance, Peter O'Neil, Mai Ngo, Voirrey Lusk, Eloise Dubois, Wandalin Frost and Odhiambo Jenkins backed the motion.
In an amendment proposed by Chancellor O'Neil, the relief package is being handled by the purpose-created Forge Development Corporation.
Felicie Chaput has called for a vote of no confidence in SPEAR, to match those going through the Subcouncils and the High Council. The precise legality of this vote is unclear, but Chancellor Chaput has announced that she believes SPEAR will relinquish their position if the voice of the people is heard. Chancellor Dubois has suggested that this matter should be put to a public referendum.
If the vote is taken by the Chancellors, it is likely that all Chancellors but Chancellor Dubois will back it.
Ariel Vance has headed the calls for Executive Marshall to steer Capital City away from the control of the World Government. No formal motions have yet been proposed, but it seems likely that they will have strong support among the Chancellors when they do.
