This page tells you what you, as a Filidh, would know beyond an Adherent's knowledge. Please also note that the information available here is not all there is, it is simply what would be known at game start. Whether you decide to share this information with others is up to you. However, the GMs ask that you relay this information in your own words instead of simply showing others the organisation brief, to maintain a sense of IC authenticity. The GM in charge of the Filidhean is Mark. If you have any questions related to this organisation, feel free to get in touch with them.
The Filidhean's Domain lies in the uppermost reaches of Temple, higher even than the Crux of the Nexus and the Magisters' Chambers. The Domain is similar in style to the rest of Temple, although it is much more richly furnished than the Adherents' quarters.
The Filidhean are the keepers of the Alitheia, and are more closely linked to it that any of the other Apices. Those prophecies which are chosen to be released come down from above, and are painstakingly recorded by the Filidhean in the book which the outsiders believe to be the Alitheia.
The true Alitheia is not spoken of, but is known to reside in the upper reaches of Temple, in the Aerie of the Ascendants. The Aerie is off-limits even to the Filidhean, and there are dark rumours about the fates of those who brake this unspoken rule.
”The Magisters shall never reach the final steps of their paths, obsessed as they are with their magics. That they so blindly stray so far from the prophecies is a lesson to all of us.” - Crwydra
”I wish I could use magic half as well as the Magisters do. It's such a shame that our paths stray so far from theirs.” - Canwr
”Do not be fooled by the Nexus. They claim to link directly to the Alitheia, but that is clearly not the case. They wander lost, their paths far behind them.” - Crwydra
”Have you ever seen the Nexus fight? It's amazing. I've sat for hours down in the training halls, just watching them moving in synch.” - Canwr
