“JG: Now, item three on the agenda: the recent Spire redecorations. There have been some complaints that the black surroundings undermine employee productivity, and furthermore – I quote here from Nia – ‘make you feel like you’re working in a particularly badly illuminated coal mine’”
The CEO made no comment at this juncture.”
- JCG Board Meeting Minutes
“After the disappearance of Siren, newly appointed Chair of Public Relations, many in the company privately expected Liberty Jeeves to falter - a newly appointed, unheard of scion of the Jeeves family. However, after a brief period of Spire redecoration and interrupted board meetings, she threw herself into her work as CEO: becoming the greatest, and indeed only person to hold that position throughout JCG history. This was attained through a rather unconventional method: each time a Liberty approached the end of her lifetime, she would re-download her mind into two cloned bodies. While causing some confusion at first, this eventually became a major asset to JCG, and Liberty proved more than able to master the demands of her position: dealing with the Gamasot Inquiry, founding the AI Rights Initiative, and ensuring that JeevesCorp's and Gamasot's warring elements (including CAITLIN) were peacefully united.
It has been an honour to chronicle her lifetime. Albeit an honour she has tried on occasion to refuse.”
