Lassitude AKA Petra Perica - A Different Kind of Hero

And now we turn our attention to Ms. Petra Perica: a new type of hero for a new age. Scion of billionaires Pierre-Yves and Elenore Perica, her beginnings may have been less modest than some. However, Perica used this backing to drive for social change, working with young people across the world through the Perica Foundation (recognisable to many with its badger logo). The task was daunting to say the least, but Perica's no nonsense attitude applied in both her hands on work and business acumen. Before her early retirement to metalwork, Perica was asked whether she was able to relate so well because of troubled teenage years; a question which she famously responded with no more or less than a polite laugh. Many speculate that her success stems in part from her own experience not just as a youth worker, but as the superhero Lassitude, a connection made thanks to the help of certain Super Hub users who have chosen to remain anonymous. Perica herself has not denied these claims, although this charity superstar did seem faintly embarrassed when asked during research for this article.

These days, Perica can be found making and selling metal sculptures downtown, accompanied by a very old and rather blind badger. She assures us that she still keeps an eye on the Perica Foundation in the event that she needs to step in in an advisory role. When asked about returning to more old-fasioned heroics, Perica answered that being a hero was part of a different life, but if the world were in danger again, if sometihng on the level of the Moon crisis of 2075 were to repeat, she would don the cape and heels once again.

Perica's mammalian sculpture collection is on display at the Ghastricon Gallery next month, and we hear it's something well worth seeing.
