Phoenix Division, the branch of our organisation dedicated to rescue operations, has a new division head. Lei Gong, long-standing member of the division, has taken over from Blitz after she stepped down. Esper has taken the position of the division's second in command.
Lei Gong's appointment has been met with the approval of the division, with only a few detractors, but time will tell to see if he proves himself.
There have been suggestions that SPEAR should be unseated. The reasons for this include the detrimental effect of SPEAR on Vigilantism and justice in general, and SPEAR's incompetence and corruption. A litany of evidence against SPEAR has been rattling around the press, and Murdoch Marshall himself would like to extend a hand of friendship to Garuda, since it offers the best alternative for a modern world.
A number of unfamiliar individuals have been spotted in The Nest recently, although the word in the lyres is that they're just a couple of informants Sparrow was considering recruiting for the Lyres.
Maxwell Byrd, the newest appointment to the Lyres, was killed recently in an ambush. Operation was supposed to be a meeting with Gamasot and SPEAR, but Maxwell and his allies were ambushed and killed by a number of thugs clearly hired for this disgusting sting operation.
Although his time with us was short lived, Maxwell's contributions to the organisations will be missed.
Samuel Marvin, one of our agents, has recently been making use of one of the Leviathan's shipyards for some kind of large scale project. Although we're not sure what he's been making, it's clearly something big.
Work on this unknown project seemingly finished not long before the upcoming Summit. Could this be a new asset to our Organisation's arsenal?
