The Rothwell Science Park Brief

This page tells you what you, as someone involved in The Rowthwell Science Park, need or ought to know beyond public knowledge of this organisation. Please also note that the information available here is not all there is, it is simply what would be known to the ranks available at game start. As you progress in the organisation, more information may become available. Alternatively, you may come across things while investigating.

Whether you decide to share this information with others is up to you. However, the GMs ask that you relay this information in your own words instead of simply showing others the organisation brief, to maintain a sense of IC authenticity.

The GM in charge of this organisation is Cameron. If you have any questions related to this organisation, feel free to get in touch with them.

Other People of Note

Patricia Cornick

Patricia is a member of the IT services in the park. She is usually assigned to the Corke Building, but has been invited to come along to oversee the Summit.

Keith Inoue

Head of the Rothwell outreach programme, intended to get kids interested in science. Not much attention is paid to this side project, as most of the park feel that the whole thing is a waste of resources.

Amélie Torian

Amélie currently lead the IASA (International Aeronautics and Space Administration) at Rothwell. Until recently, their largest project has been the ongoing running of the Al-Battani Space Station.

Location Information

Just outside the central Park is the IASA launch facility. From here, the maintenance crafts for the Al-Battani Space Station are launched each month. Other experimental craft are launched from here, and the area is a no-fly zone for all commercial travel.

Recent Events

The Moon Incident

Following the disappearance of a large chunk of the moon, Amélie Torian has begun plans for a mission using the one of the supply shuttles from the Al-Battani Space Station to investigate the issue.

Due to the large scale of the issue, co-operation with individuals outside of the Park is to be expected. Anyone intending to join the mission should make themselves known at the summit.

Field Testers Wanted

The Maxwell Institute are looking for field testers for their new Matter Compression and Storage devices. Initial testing on inanimate objects has proved successful so far, and the next test will be performed on living matter.

Speak to Dr. Maru Himura for further information.
